This week's guild studio feature is for "jstinson" aka Joni. The jewelry showcased in this wonderful jewelry design studio is a combination of traditional Native American techniques with contemporary elements, colors, and materials. Joni, who is Creek and Cherokee, says that each piece that she creates is symbolic and exemplifies her passion for her nation and her art. Btw, the actual name of this studio is "Ghi-Goo-ie-Designs. This was one of her ancestor's names which means "sweet heart". Joni, has quite an accomplished background. She is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian, as well as a Licenced Medical Nutrition Therapist. Joni also teaches beading at Blue Earth Intertribal School of Native American Studies in Omaha, Neveda. She has the distinction of being invited by the United States Department of Interior to participate in their National Park Service's "Artist in Residence" program. WooHoo for you girl! Her wonderful ethnic creations are sold at Pow Wows, Craft Shows, Galleries, and on-line. This is a very busy and accomplished lady, indeed! This guild studio is full of beautiful jewelry and a number of other of Joni's artistic endeavors. You are invited to take a personal Spirit Journey through Ghi-Goo-ie Designs, but before you do here are some of the wonderful creations found there. Necklaces: Bracelets:

Featured Guild Studio: Craftemall
Featured this week is one of our newest Jewelry Supply Studios, "Craftemall" aka Beata. What a wonderful addition this studio is to our Guild. The jewelry supplies here are definitely "eye candy" for anyone who designs jewelry or anyone who is just addicted to beads (aren't there a few of those kind of people in this guild? LOL) Craftemall is a fabulous showplace for silver beads, headpins, clasps, charms, earring findings, prayer box pendants and other components. You will also find some very unique Thai, Bali and filigree designs. There also is a wonderful supply of lovely colored lampwork beads. Beata's philosophy for her studio is "to fuel your creativity by providing you unique jewellery making components". Beata only choose the highest quality beads and components for "Craftemall". With this said let's have a small peek at some of the "goodies" found to fuel your creativity here: Beads: Charms and pendants:
